WHAT IS EDUCATION FOR ALL PROJECT?
Since around six years, NUDOR has been building partnership with different bodies including: public and private institutions, organizations that have contributed to the great achievements in terms for advocacy for the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities. For instance, NUDOR has been implementing a project on education in partnership with MyRight Empowers people with disabilities, its Swedish partner organization and DPOD, its Danish sister organization. Under that partnership, much has been done in advocating for the rights to education for children with disabilities. However, much needs to be done to address the barriers that still hamper the education of the children with disabilities. It is in this framework in partnership with DPOD and Danish Scout Association DPOD, that NUDOR is currently implementing a project entitled “Education for All”.The project is being implemented in five districts and targets six selected schools: Groupe Scolaire Burema in Nyarugenge District, Rukingu Primary School in Rusiga Sector in Rulindo District, Groupe Scolaire Ruhango Catholique in Ruhango Sector in Ruhango District, Groupe Scolaire Rwisirabo in Nyagatare District, Muramba A Primary School and Gitega Primary School in Ngororero District.
