NUDOR in partnership with UPHLS through the joint partnership project called “EmployAble” that helpedYouth with Disabilities (YwDs) to learn different trades participated in the three days (From 12th to 14th) 2018 JADF Open Day held in Muhanga District where they showed the visitors and communities different activities and achievements from the first Phase of the implementation of mentioned project.
Ceremony was to start on the 12th June 2018 , the president of JADF Muhanga Mr. KARAMIRA Prudence was the one to open the ceremony and the guest of honor was the Vice Mayor in charge of Economic affairs.
Different CSO, private, Governent institutions and donors and cooperatives attended the ceremony and exhibition. On the 13th June 2018 it was the second day of the open day in Muhanga , our stand got many visitors who came to see what Youth with Disabilities (YwDs) have performed in as far as “ Made in Rwanda” is concerned and those who were in different trades including hair dressing and leather works (Shoes making).
During the closing remarks, the President of JADF closed by thanking all participants in the open Day 2018 and NUDOR and UPHLS awarded the cup because they performed well among the 70’s of participants and they automatically answered the wish of Vice Mayor in charge of economic affairs by teaching YwDs how they could improve on their living conditions by practicing made in Rwanda.
