From 11th to 14th February 2019 the National Union of Disability Organisations in Rwanda (NUDOR), in collaboration with Liliane Fondation, hosted a training on the use of the Pluriform Webportal which was conducted in Kigali. This training was aiming at enabling NUDOR Partner Organizations to be responsible of the entry of their proposals, plans and reports in the pluriform Webportal and helping NUDOR to have more equipped staff on pluriform system.
|The management of this partnership is being done via the pluriform system for all LF Partners mainly known as STRATEGIC PARTNERS. Normally NUDOR had only 2 staff who had some knowledge on the use of this system and those staff had been claiming that they need further training to increase knowledge because they had little knowledge on the system. Partner Organisations had no knowledge and no access on the system and that is the reason why NUDOR (Strategic Partner Organization) had to work on their behalf and it was a challenge for NUDOR as two staff were not enough to do such a huge task. The consequence of that was the system update which was always late. After a two days training for all participants, only NUDOR delegates continued to be trained on the system in the framework of building their capacity so as to be able to go on supporting Partner Organisations in the use of this portal.NUDOR will make a follow up to make sure that POs are using this pluriform properly. It will also train the remaining Partner Organisations on this portal. For now 6 delegates from NUDOR CBR Partners (HVP GATAGARA, Caritas Diocesain Kabgayi, Caritas Diocesain Nyundo Kibuye, Caritas Diocesain Ruhengeri, AGHR and Caritas Diocesain Nyundo Gisenyi) are going to start using this pluriform webportal while the remaining POs will use it later after being trained. The facilitator of the training was Gemmy GLADDINES (Process and Application Support officer from Liliane Foundation)|
The utilization of the pluriform by NUDOR POs in Rwanda being a pilot project, Liliane Foundation will train other SPOs and their Partner Organisations in other countries after realizing how the training has been fruitful in Rwanda.
NUDOR is grateful to Liliane Foundation for this important training which will surely contribute greatly to the smooth implementation of the programme activities.
