Rwanda National Association of Deaf Women (RNADW)

The Rwanda National Association of Deaf Women (RNADW) was created in 2005 by a group of Deaf women to advocate for their rights.

Together with the Rwandan Union of the Deaf RNADW are implementing a project to build their capacities by establishing branches at the local level to become strong organisations to be able to realize the rights of Deaf People in Rwanda. The project aims at reaching 60 deaf people who will be recruited in 2 districts of Musanze, and Ruhango. The 16 committee members in 2 districts and national committees will participate in the training on leadership, organisational objectives, how to collect new members and leadership skills by (Deaf expert in this Area from Uganda National Association of the Deaf (UNAD-Kampala).
